Cancellation Policy
At Wermilo, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent while ensuring we can maintain our high standards of service for all guests. Please review our policy before confirming your reservation.
1. Standard Reservations
Our standard cancellation policy applies to all regular villa reservations:
More than 30 days before arrival
Full refund of deposit, minus a $50 administrative fee.
15-30 days before arrival
75% refund of the total reservation amount.
7-14 days before arrival
50% refund of the total reservation amount.
Less than 7 days before arrival
No refund available. The full amount will be charged.
2. Modification of Reservations
If you need to modify your reservation dates, we will make every effort to accommodate your request, subject to availability. Modifications made:
- More than 14 days before arrival: No additional charge
- 7-14 days before arrival: $100 modification fee
- Less than 7 days before arrival: Treated as a cancellation and new booking
If the modified stay results in a higher rate, you will be responsible for the difference. If the modified stay results in a lower rate, the refund will be subject to the cancellation policy timeframes above.
3. No-Shows
If you fail to arrive on your scheduled check-in date without prior notification, your entire reservation will be canceled, and the full amount will be charged with no refund available.
4. Early Departure
No refunds will be provided for early departures or unused nights. The full amount of your original reservation will be charged.
5. Group Bookings
For group bookings of 3 or more villas, special cancellation terms apply:
- More than 60 days before arrival: 80% refund
- 30-60 days before arrival: 50% refund
- Less than 30 days before arrival: No refund
6. Event & Holiday Periods
During peak seasons, holiday periods (December 20 - January 10, Easter week, Thanksgiving week), and special events, stricter cancellation policies apply:
- More than 60 days before arrival: 75% refund
- 30-60 days before arrival: 25% refund
- Less than 30 days before arrival: No refund
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may affect your travel plans. Travel insurance can cover cancellation fees, travel delays, medical emergencies, and more.
8. Force Majeure
In the event of force majeure (natural disasters, acts of government, pandemics, or other extraordinary circumstances beyond our control), we reserve the right to offer a credit for future stay in lieu of a refund, valid for 18 months from the original arrival date.

All cancellations must be confirmed in writing by our reservations team to be valid. The cancellation date will be the date on which we confirm receipt of your cancellation request.
10. Refund Processing
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days of confirming your cancellation. Please note that it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
